S. Durbin, is a wonderful fantasy adventure
story about a girl named Cymbril's journey of self-discovery.
The Inuit Mythology
Initiative is a project supported primarily by the nonprofit organizations
the Nunavut Bilingual Education Society
and the Qikiqtani Inuit Association to preserve and promote the mythology
and legends of the Inuit people. The Initiative seeks to record
these stories, many of which are on the verge of being lost as the
number of elders in various communities dwindles, in an educational
magazine.
The hope is that publishing these traditional stories with a modern
artistic twist will inspire the next generation.
