Hello! It's been some time since there has been a new post here in the News section. With the advent of social media (namely Instagram, in my case) I've been neglecting the use of this space to provide visitors with news about my artwork and website. If you'd like to stay up to date on the latest happenings, please follow me on Instagram!
The past year has been an exciting (and busy!) time for me. I'm working with a new client, Llewellyn Worldwide, on several projects including fairy themed wall calendars and a tarot card deck. Creatively, these projects are like a dream come true! The first calendar is the 2019 Magical Faery Calendar, which will be released in the next few months.
Since I'm keeping busy in my studio drawing and painting, I don't have any convention appearances planned for the remainder of 2018 –– however, there are still some local opportunities to see my artwork in person.
For the remainder of May and through the end of June, sixteen of my original paintings are on display at the Coupeville Library on Whidbey Island. The work ranges across more than a decade of my illustration career, from the "Practical Guide" series of fantasy books about the Dungeons & Dragons universe, to my most recent paintings for the 2019 Magical Faery Calendar. If you find yourself in the area any time within the next month I hope you'll visit, not only to see my artwork, but to take in the charm and scenery of Coupeville and the rest of the island.
Also in June, another of my recent paintings, "Little Birds," will be on display in the juried Gallery area of the Edmonds Arts Festival, June 15th-17th 2018. This will be my first time showing artwork during the festival.
Thank you for visiting!
